I love to eat, so I know a thing or two about local eateries…

JUTAMAS THAI

I’m not even sure if I can put into words how much I love Jutama’s. I try Thai restaurants in almost every state I visit, and I’ve never had a Thai meal better than Jutamas. I recommend the Spring Roll, Tom Ka Gai soup, Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai, and any of their curries!

There are 2 locations in Hattiesburg, downtown and out west. And guess what? They have one of the best ribeyes in town, too!

Compadres Mexican

No one loves a Mexican Street Taco more than this girl, and Compadres knows what’s up! I highly recommend the Carnitas (pork) with cilantro and onion on a corn tortilla, but feel free to ask a server for a recommendation. Quick service, delicious taste and 2 locations - one downtown on Hardy and one out west on Old Hwy 11.

Wasabi Sushi

Located in front of Sam’s on Hwy 98 W., Wasabi has been my go-to for sushi for a decade. Owned and operated by a husband and wife, the service is friendly and meals are freshly prepared while you wait. I recommend any dish with spicy tuna and their gyoza is delicious, too! Tell Susan Paula sent you!
